What happens when employers, support services and What happens when employers, support services and people with disability come together with a shared goal?

Our latest evaluation report explores this through the massive success of our WorkAbility Expos Program.

Through WorkAbility Expos, people with disability, including those with high support needs, gained greater understanding of employment pathways, connected directly with inclusive employers, and accessed information about the supports available to help them succeed.

We found that:
✔ Participants expanded their knowledge of employment pathways and available supports
✔ Connections with employers created new opportunities for future employment
✔ Workshops increased confidence and readiness to pursue work goals

👉 What does it mean?
When employers embrace inclusive hiring and people have access to the right information, support and networks, it leads to a more inclusive workforce.

Thank you to everyone who provided their thoughts and feedback for this project.
